13 Week Ultrasound / Pregnancy Update

Last Friday was our Prenatal Screening Test. We did this test when we were pregnant with Brody and decided to do it again. It is an ultrasound that checks for any abnormalities which include heart defects and down syndrome. In most cases you can also tell the gender of the Baby.

Everything checked out great. Baby looked nice and healthy and is measuring a week ahead of schedule. However, my due date will most likely not change. 

And....

IT'S A GIRL!

We are both so excited! I feel like its a dream come true. Justin is a little scared naturally, but we are both loving the idea of having a Boy and a Girl. The perfect little family.

Pregnancy Update

How far along? 13 Weeks 4 Days 185 days to go.

What is the size of baby?About 3 inches, 1.5 oz, and the size of a Lemon

Maternity clothes? None.

Best moment? 13 weeks ultrasound of course! 

Miss anything? My energy, especially with a 1 year old. 

Movement? Baby was moving all over in the ultrasound but I still haven't felt anything yet. 

Food cravings? Nothing.

Anything making you queasy? Just depends on the time and day. I had a really rough first trimester. Everything made me nauseous. Now it is starting to slow up somewhat.  I have good days and bad days. Good nights and bad nights. 

Symptoms? My skin hates being pregnant! Nausea and fatigue are the big ones. 

Wedding rings On or Off? ON!

Looking forward to? My next Dr appointment. Always my favorite thing to check on the little peanut!
